Principle of plate technology

The basic components of a plate and gasket exchanger are as follows :

  • The bundle of plate consisting of cold-stamped, corrugated plates, the number of which depends on the heating programme.
  • The gaskets to ensure that the channels are isolated from one another and to control fluid flow.
  • The frame for assembling and tightening the plates.
  •

Technical characteristics and models

An extensive range

  • 47 sizes of plate with 2 different angles
  • Single-stream exchangers in most cases
  • Tube diameters from 25 mm to 500 mm
  • Design pressure up to 25 bar
  • Plates: AISI 304, 316, Titanium, Hastelloy®, etc.
  • Gaskets: Nitrile,EPDM,Viton,etc..
  • Frames: for industrial and food processing uses
